Heather requested that I blog more often, and I actually have been wanting to blog more lately, so I figured while she's eating supper, and while I wait for my supper to arrive, I shall blog :-)

I love the fact that I worked 14 less hours last week than usual, but I made up for about half of that by working overnight for like 36 hours, and pulling in the extra couple of bucks per hour for that :-)

Work went okay today.  EVERYBODY there was in a bad mood.  I actually got by pretty well today.  Bob and Lorraine were both super-nice to me.  I got to see Melissa again at my store, which is always a nice surprise.  And I got to take lunch with Heather, John, and Greg, which is always nice.  I got A LOT done, too, which is making Lorraine quite happy :-)

After dinner, later on tonight, when I have a good hour or so to post, I think I'm going to be writing one of my super-long, insanely interesting to very few people type blogs.  I have so much that I want to talk about, but I just can't get it all out right now, and I'm starving.  Blah.  How about a survey to pass the time . . .

1 - Why are you best friends with your best friend?
I have a few, and I'll tell you why I'm friends with each of them, in length of friendship order:

   a) Pete - I've been friends with Pete for the last ten years, which is a long time.  He's there for me when I need him, and I know that he'd do anything for me.  He's gotten me through some very tough times.

   b) Andrew - I've been friends with Andrew for five years now.  Although I started out as better friends with his brother, Alex . . . Andrew and I get along very well.  He's also the one who helped me through the breakup with Rocio . . . Seriously, he was online every single night for three or four months straight to help me out. 

   c) James - Coming up on three years of friendship with James, and we kinda hit it off right away.  It helps that we have three HUGE things in common.  We're both fanatical fans of Dave Matthews Band and the Mets.  The third thing is that we work together.  James is always brutally honest when I ask for advice, which is what I need, although probably not what I want usually.  He was also the person that I talked to on the actual night of the breakup, as I drove around for hours on end trying to figure things out.  I'll never forget that.

d) Mandi - A relative newcomer to my best friend list, although it's coming up on a year now!  Mandi found me through Vox, actually, and I immediately felt comfortable letting her into my world and throwing all of my problems upon her.  She listens to me, helps me when I need help, and always makes me feel like things are going to be okay.

   So that's why I'm best friends with the people that I'm best friends with! :-)

2 - What bothers you the most about other people?
When people act stupid

3 - Would you ever marry for money?
Although I don't have a lot of money at all, I wouldn't marry for money.  I believe in love, and believe that even if you don't have a lot of money, you still can get by with love.

4 - Do you prefer to text message or talk on the phone?
Depends on what it's about.  Little things like making plans, stuff like that, I like texting.  When it comes to conversing, finding out how someone is, I'd rather phone.

5 - Do you believe that 30 really is the new 20?
yeah, I do.   People are getting married, settling down, starting careers, and stuff a lot later than they used to.  So 20 is still young now.

more than likely not, heh.
